about me ...
Born and Raised in Kernersville, NC I grew up playing competitive soccer and always enjoyed exploring the outdoors. I got introduced in to mountain biking and snowboarding towards the end of high school. Soccer carried me to Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where I walked on to the school team my freshman year. During my final year at ASU I was introduced to Industrial Design as the program was being started by Banks Talley. I also developed a love and passion for Snowboarding which would shape the next few years of my life. In the spring of 2006 I graduated with a degree in Drafting and Design. Shortly after that I moved out to Truckee, California to pursue a career in Designing and Building Terrain Parks for Boreal Mountain Resort and Mt. Bachelor.
In 2011 I Enrolled in the graduate program of Industrial Design at North Carolina State University. I was a track 3 student which was a 3 year program for students who had no formal training in Design. Over the next 4 years I worked to develop my skills as a designer and took a year long Internship with Husqvarna Group in Charlotte, NC.
In May of 2015 I Graduated from North Carolina State University with a Masters of Industrial Design.
